FUSO to supply Large Fleet of Construction Vehicles for Ugandan Infrastructure Projects
Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) will supply 502 units of its FUSO vehicles to its Japanese business partners for Ugandan infrastructure projects by the Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport.Uganda is among the fastest-growing countries in Africa, with a GDP growth rate of five percent. The agricultural country is seeing the continuous development of infrastructure, especially roads, already extending around 130,000 kilometers across the country. This time the Ugandan government will improve roadways covering 112 districts nationwide with the aim of increasing the efficiency of transporting agricultural products.

BharatBenz expands reach in northern India with Ghaziabad dealership

The latest addition to DICV‟s domestic sales and service network will cater to BharatBenz trucks and buses as well as to MercedesBenz luxury buses. Daimler India Commercial Vehicles crosses export milestone of 5,000 vehicles
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has reached another important milestone: less than three years after the start of exports in 2013, the mark of 5,000 units was crossed. Volumes have been steadily growing, as has the number of markets served which currently includes more than 20 countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. More than 10 further markets will be added in the course of this year, Kuwait and Peru were launched recently.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles completes major expansion of solar power facilities
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, has taken solar power usage at its manufacturing plant in Oragadam near Chennai to the next level. With the completion of a major addition to the plant’s existing photovoltaic installations, the overall technical capacity has increased from 0.8 to 3.3 Megawatts.
